About the role
Mechanical design lead for aerospace structures using CATIA V5, covering structural analysis, stack-up analysis, and design reviews (PDR, CDR). Requires 10-14 years in Aerospace Structures within highly regulated sectors.
What you'll do
- Perform hand calculations to validate structural and thermal design
- Perform concept and design reviews (PDR, CDR)
- Ensure designs meet manufacturing, assembly, and integration requirements
- Create BOMs and manage engineering change processes
- Apply drawing standards and Geometric Tolerancing best practices
- Use CATIA V5 and PLM software (Enovia preferred)
What they're looking for
- 10-14 years of design and industrial experience in Aerospace Structures
- CATIA, Creo, DFM, Jigs and Fixtures
- Structural analysis (static, modal, shocks, vibrations)
- Stack Up Analysis
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of Catia V5 and PLM (Enovia preferred)
