About the role
Engineering Manager leading an India-based team building scalable web-scraping and data acquisition capabilities for retailer and marketplace data. Combines people leadership, technical delivery and operational ownership, partnering with global Engineering, Product and Data Operations.
What you'll do
- Manage, coach and develop India-based engineers and associates
- Lead design, build and maintenance of web scrapers and supporting services
- Drive predictable execution across onboarding, change requests and production support
- Improve automation, monitoring, alerting and incident response
- Partner with Product, Data Operations and delivery teams on priorities
What they're looking for
- 8-10 years managing software or data-engineering professionals
- Strong software engineering background (Python, Java, C#, JS/TS)
- Experience with web scraping, crawling or high-volume data collection
- Knowledge of HTTP, HTML/DOM, APIs, proxies and monitoring
- Ability to lead delivery across ambiguous requirements
