About the role
Lead technical role for peripheral blocksets and device variant scaling within Renesas Hardware Support Packages. Owns development of Simulink peripheral blocks and drives scalable enablement across MCU variants.
What you'll do
- Lead development of peripheral blocksets (ADC, PWM, UART, CAN) using foundation components
- Drive device variant augmentation, validation strategies, and automation frameworks
- Define block architecture, coding standards, and integration patterns
- Review IO Builder / System Object implementations and optimize performance
- Collaborate with MW foundation team to maintain alignment with core dependencies
What they're looking for
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years in embedded systems with strong peripheral driver development experience
- Experience building support packages / peripheral enablement frameworks at a semiconductor supplier
- Strong MATLAB/Simulink and MBD concepts experience
- Proven ability to design scalable architectures for device variant support
- Senior Staff-level technical leadership: architecture ownership, mentoring, cross-team influence
