Senior backend engineer for Zeta Marketing Platform, building distributed systems and APIs for a high-throughput marketing automation platform. Focus on server-side services, event pipelines, and cloud architecture.
What you'll do
- Design and implement core components for marketing automation platform
- Develop server-side APIs and services for distributed event pipeline
- Ensure high product quality through code reviews and unit tests
- Fix bugs and implement enhancements
- Take ownership of a significant product component
What they're looking for
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years with Python, Ruby and/or J2EE or equivalent OO paradigm
- Experience with Kafka, Elastic Search, NoSQL databases (e.g., Aerospike), Thrift, CI, and AWS
- Strong object-oriented programming and design skills
- Strong communication skills in large distributed team
