About the role
Principal SoC Validation Engineer responsible for end-to-end silicon validation strategy for automotive and embedded SoCs. Leads global validation teams, drives first-time-right silicon, and establishes validation methodologies.
What you'll do
- Define and own end-to-end silicon validation strategy from pre-silicon to production release
- Lead global validation teams for silicon bring-up, characterization, and system-level validation
- Establish System Use Case Validation Program converting customer scenarios into automated suites
- Drive shift-left validation and escape-prevention strategy
- Lead automation, standardization, and infrastructure modernization
- Provide executive-level reporting on validation status and risks
What they're looking for
- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering
- 15+ years in semiconductor validation, characterization, or silicon engineering
- 3+ years in senior technical leadership roles
- Strong domain expertise in SoC validation, system-level use-case testing, robustness validation
- Experience building automation-first validation frameworks using Python, C++, or similar
- Experience with AI frameworks for SoC validation efficiency
