About the role
Senior backend engineer building distributed systems for Zeta's CRM platform, including mobile communication services like SMS/MMS/RCS. Focus on high-throughput systems, throughput, performance, and concurrency.
What you'll do
- Design and develop next-gen mobile communication services (SMS/MMS/RCS)
- Implement core components for marketing automation platform
- Ensure quality via code reviews and unit tests
- Fix bugs and implement enhancements
- Own a significant product component in design and implementation
What they're looking for
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
- 5-8 years with Python, Ruby, J2EE or equivalent OO paradigm
- Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, NoSQL (Aerospike)
- Experience with AWS, CI, containers
- Experience with AI tools and AI-based development practices
- Strong OOP and design skills
