About the role
Ericsson seeks a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in routing, infrastructure, and OAM to develop and test switch router products. The role involves L2/L3 protocols, system-level services, and management interfaces. The position is based in Bengaluru.
What you'll do
- Develop and test switch router products
- Work in agile team as developer and tester
- Design, code, unit test, feature test, regression test, and automate tests
- Document and maintain products
- Implement networking protocols and infrastructure services
- Develop OAM interfaces and observability features
What they're looking for
- 5+ years hands-on experience with network systems
- Strong C/C++ programming skills
- Experience with L2/L3 Ethernet switches/routers
- Knowledge of MPLS, Multicast, OSPF, BGP, VLAN/VTP
- Experience with system-level infrastructure services
- Familiarity with CLI, Netconf/YANG, SNMP
- Bachelor's/Master's in CS, EE, Telecom or equivalent
