About the role
Senior backend engineer building server-side APIs and services for Zeta's ML/AI-powered CRM platform, handling high-throughput event pipelines. Focus on distributed systems, cloud architecture, and marketing automation components.
What you'll do
- Design and implement core components for marketing automation platform
- Write application code to satisfy product requirements
- Ensure quality via code reviews and unit tests
- Fix bugs and implement enhancements
- Own a significant product component in design and implementation

- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
- 4-8 years with J2EE, Python, or equivalent OO paradigm
- Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, Airflow, NoSQL (Aerospike)
- Experience with AWS, SQL, containers
- Strong OOP and design skills
- Strong problem-solving and communication
