About the role
The Project Supply Chain Lead manages interfaces between Supply Chain and the project to secure first part deliveries and supplier deliveries for serial and NPI production. The role leads the project's Supply Chain team, monitors supplier capacity, and ensures logistical needs are integrated with suppliers and internal units.
What you'll do
- Manage interfaces between Supply Chain and project for on-time supplier deliveries
- Formalize supplier capacity commitments in capacity grid per project planning
- Identify critical suppliers and drive preventive action plans with PrSM
- Lead project Supply Chain team including SPC, forklift and Logistic Methods
- Secure delivery plans during ramp-up or major planning changes
- Set and follow parts status in PMFU tool and ensure SC milestones
What they're looking for
- 12-15 years experience in Supply chain – Procurement / Projects
- B.E / B.Tech related to Assembly Manufacturing (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
- Proficient in English, Tamil, Hindi
- IT skills: SAP, MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
- IRIS or related standards, ISO/TS 16949
- Ability to deal quickly and effectively with a variety of topics
