About the role
Leads complex cross-functional medical device projects across hardware, firmware, software, cybersecurity and manufacturing within Cepheid's Program Management Office in Bengaluru. Owns scope, schedule, budget, quality and delivery from concept through launch and post-market sustainment, with strong regulatory and QMS oversight.
What you'll do
- Lead cross-functional systems projects across hardware, firmware, software and manufacturing
- Build integrated project plans covering requirements, design reviews, V&V and regulatory activities
- Establish Waterfall, Agile or hybrid governance and run phase-gate reviews
- Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System and design-control processes
- Manage program risks, issues and mitigation plans with timely escalation
- Report schedule, budget, resource and milestone performance; coordinate launch and commercialization
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's in engineering, computer science or biomedical engineering with 7+ years relevant experience (or master's with 5+)
- At least 5 years project/program management leading cross-functional product development
- Experience delivering a complex system or electro-mechanical product involving at least two of hardware, firmware, software, consumables or connected/cloud
- Strong project-management experience
- On-site presence in Bengaluru
