About the role
Cloud security engineer working across information security with focus on cloud, infrastructure and data security in AWS-based systems. Owns cloud security posture management, workload protection and data security charter, and builds security automation and tooling.
What you'll do
- Identify and mitigate security issues and design solutions in AWS-based systems
- Own and improve the cloud security posture management program (NIST 800-53, ISO 27001)
- Own cloud workload protection including alert investigation and triage
- Drive data security charter: classification, masking, securing large data stores
- Automate infrastructure security and build security tooling
- Conduct security design, infrastructure and architecture reviews
What they're looking for
- 2-6 years experience in information security
- Networking, Linux, containers and secure cloud architecture fundamentals
- Strong programming in Python, Go or Bash
- Hands-on cloud security with AWS/GCP/Azure
- Experience building and automating custom security tools
- Microservices, CI/CD, containerized workload security
