About the role
JioHotstar seeks a Staff Software Development Engineer for Adtech to lead design and development of core advertising systems. The role involves building scalable microservices, driving architecture, and mentoring engineers.
What you'll do
- Design and build scalable, resilient microservices for ad tech stack.
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex backend projects.
- Write high-quality, maintainable code with rigorous testing.
- Drive architectural decisions and influence engineering strategy.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.
What they're looking for
- Proficiency in Java, Golang, or Python.
- Experience designing and building distributed systems at scale.
- Strong understanding of storage systems, query performance, and caching.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Kafka, and CI/CD.
