- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 12+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience with Java and backend application development, designing, building, and operating distributed systems at scale
- Demonstrated track record shaping architecture or technical direction across multiple teams
- Experience mentoring senior engineers and contributing to technical leveling decisions
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Devin, Windsurf) in a professional setting
