What you'll do
- Develop, test, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT using Python, SQL, and GCP services
- Write and optimize complex SQL in BigQuery for transformation and analysis
- Assist in designing and implementing data models within the data warehouse
- Collaborate with project team to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
- Troubleshoot data pipeline and quality issues to ensure accuracy and availability
- Contribute documentation and follow data engineering best practices
What they're looking for
- 10-12 years in IT/cloud consulting, with 5+ years hands-on GCP (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow/ETL)
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related
- Proven track record leading GCP projects with measurable outcomes
- Strong communication for stakeholder management and executive presentations
- Python, SQL, and GCP services experience
- GCP certifications such as Professional Data Engineer or Cloud Architect preferred
