About the role
Java Microservices Backend Developer building solutions with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and cloud platforms. Designs and develops technical solutions from requirements, leads API framework design, and supports production incident/RCA work across global stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Analyze requirements and technical specs to design and develop solutions
- Build Java Spring Boot microservices with Kafka and cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure)
- Lead API framework design and development
- Identify application and process improvements across global stakeholders
- Report risks, issues, and blockers to stakeholders and team
- Support production incidents and RCA for delivered features
What they're looking for
- 7+ years backend development with strong Java, microservices, Kafka focus
- Spring Boot, Webservices, Microservices, SOAP, REST hands-on experience
- TDD and BDD experience
- Experience with one cloud: GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Kubernetes and containers experience
- Basic database knowledge
