About the role
Vulnerability management engineer responsible for scanning, analyzing, and coordinating remediation of vulnerabilities across infrastructure, applications, and networks. Works with cross-functional teams to prioritize and address security risks.
What you'll do
- Perform regular vulnerability scans using tools like Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7
- Analyze vulnerability reports and prioritize based on risk
- Coordinate patch management and remediation with system owners
- Follow up on remediation progress and escalate unaddressed issues
- Support incident response and compliance requirements
- Automate vulnerability scanning and reporting processes
What they're looking for
- 4-6 years experience in vulnerability management
- In-depth knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7)
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, Unix and patch management
- Understanding of networking concepts
- Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS)
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) a plus
