About the role
Tech Lead - DevOps at Rupeek, a fintech platform for gold loans. The role leads the DevOps team, owns infrastructure vision, cloud architecture, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, cost, and reliability. Also partners with Infosec on audits and compliance.
What you'll do
- Set vision and direction for infrastructure including cloud architecture, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, cost, and reliability
- Own infrastructure-as-code standards including Terraform module design, state management, drift detection, and review process
- Own production readiness bar for services handling production traffic
- Partner with Infosec to pass audits (RBI IT Outsourcing, SOC 2, ISO 27001, DPDP) and due diligence
- Lead incident response from infrastructure side
- Mentor junior and mid DevOps engineers, run design and code reviews
What they're looking for
- 5 to 8 years of experience
- Deep AWS knowledge: VPC design, IAM, EKS, RDS/Aurora, S3, KMS, cost architecture, multi-AZ/multi-region
- EKS operations: node group strategy, cluster upgrades, addons lifecycle, admission controllers, network policies, PSA
- Debugging at kernel/OS, container runtime, CNI, etcd, control plane layers
