Technical Product Owner

About the role
Technical Product Owner for NetBird's zero-trust network security platform, owning the day-to-day backlog (clients, dashboard, API, self-hosted setup) and bridging users and engineering. Reports to the CTO in a hands-on, small-team setting, shaping how product work runs as the company grows.
What you'll do
- Own and triage the day-to-day backlog in Linear, writing clear tickets with context and acceptance criteria.
- Collect feedback from customers, GitHub issues, community channels, support and sales calls, and turn it into well-framed problems.
- Talk directly with users and customers to understand setups and the underlying problems.
- Plan regular cycles with engineering, break features into shippable pieces, and follow through to release.
- Keep the company informed on shipping via release notes, changelogs, and sales/support updates.
- Close the loop with feedback providers and spot patterns to bring into roadmap discussions.
What they're looking for
- 3+ years as a Product Owner, Product Manager or similar in technical B2B SaaS, infrastructure, or developer tools.
- Technical background comfortable with API docs, GitHub discussions, and working with engineers.
- Understanding of networking basics: IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Comfortable in technical conversations with engineers and IT/infrastructure users.
- Structured approach to keeping a busy backlog organized.
