About the role
Staff Software Engineer for Cloud API at Cyberhaven, building data and AI security products. Owns design and implementation of scalable, fault-tolerant systems across public clouds, SaaS, and AI agents. Early contributor shaping architecture for enterprise data protection.
What you'll do
- Design and implement highly scalable, fault-tolerant solutions for data protection across public clouds, SaaS, and AI agents
- Build security capabilities for visibility and control over AI agents' access to sensitive data
- Solve real-world scaling problems using performance analysis and troubleshooting
- Work with a microservices stack including Go, Kubernetes, Bigtable, BigQuery, Spanner, Redis, Docker
- Write secure-by-design software handling untrusted data and communicating with endpoints
What they're looking for
- 5-8 years industry experience building high-scale security products
- Experience building AI agents or security solutions for AI agents
- Extensive experience with distributed application software for public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure) or SaaS
- Skilled in integrating large-scale data from third-party APIs
- Extensive experience in Go, or proficiency in Python, Java, or Rust
- Experience designing RESTful APIs, microservices, and Kubernetes
