About the role
The Sr. Portfolio Program Manager - R&D provides exception-based orchestration across an R&D pillar, partnering with Product and Engineering leaders to maintain portfolio visibility and improve delivery predictability. The role combines Agile coaching with portfolio program management and champions AI-enabled program management.
What you'll do
- Partner with Product and Engineering Pillar Leaders to establish and maintain portfolio baselines.
- Maintain visibility into portfolio commitments and execution progress, surfacing variances and coordinating change management.
- Establish and improve portfolio metrics, dashboards, reporting, automation, and AI-enabled workflows.
- Identify and introduce AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve Program Management effectiveness.
- Partner with R&D Operating System teams to improve data quality, tooling, and process standards.
- Establish and maintain visibility into cross-team and cross-pillar dependencies.
