About the role
Senior Software Engineer on the Platform team building a multi-tenant data lakehouse, scalable compute, and self-service environments for R&D and commercial launch. Leads end-to-end projects and collaborates across science and business teams.
What you'll do
- Lead projects to build platform components for multi-tenancy, data governance, and scaling
- Integrate open-source, enterprise, and SaaS technologies into the stack
- Contribute to Data Lakehouse platforms for analytical and operational use cases
- Improve Research Platform for experimentation, ML Ops, and data processing
- Collaborate via system design, code reviews, and pairing
- Support platform users and troubleshoot issues
What they're looking for
- 6+ years building reliable production software, preferably platform engineering
- Proficiency in Python and one other high-level language
- Strong Linux fundamentals including networking and containerization
- Experience with cloud services and IaC (Azure or GCP preferred)
- Operational experience managing large Kubernetes clusters
- BS or higher in computer science or related field
