About the role
Senior software engineer in the Platform Core team building Golang-based services, data pipelines and streaming systems. Focus is hands-on development, debugging and maintaining large-scale production services, not people or program management.
What you'll do
- Design, build and maintain large-scale production services, web apps, data pipelines and streaming systems
- Debug production issues across services and multiple stack layers
- Participate in testing, code review and certification of software
- Improve engineering standards, tooling and processes
- Research, analyze and document findings for engineering teams
What they're looking for
- Strong Golang experience (primary requirement)
- Exposure to PostgreSQL and Kafka preferred
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of version control, build, debuggers and test frameworks
- Ability to work independently with general supervision
