About the role
Tech Lead Manager for an autonomous connector-building AI system, leading 4-6 engineers while staying ~60% hands-on. Owns architecture, correctness criteria and evaluation systems for self-healing data connectors.
What you'll do
- Lead 4-6 engineers while staying deeply technical (~60% hands-on)
- Own parts of the Connector Builder Agent and connector platform
- Work on API doc understanding, schema evolution, failure repair and confidence scoring
- Build automated evaluation systems for non-deterministic outputs
- Define what autonomous actions are safe versus need human intervention

- Strong hands-on engineering background
- Experience leading small engineering teams
- Distributed systems and API integration experience
- Comfort with LLM/agent-based systems and evaluations
- Ability to design correctness and confidence criteria
