About the role
Staff fullstack integrations engineer serving as technical lead for Showpad's internal Integrations team. Designs AWS-based event-driven microservices, sets architecture standards and mentors engineers; hands-on IC role.
What you'll do
- Author Architecture Decision Records and govern integration architecture
- Build microservices in TypeScript and Go
- Own AWS CDK infrastructure, DynamoDB and Aurora RDS decisions
- Build async webhook pipelines with EventBridge and SQS
- Instrument observability with OpenTelemetry and Datadog
- Mentor senior engineers and uphold engineering standards
What they're looking for
- Lead, staff or principal engineer experience in high-growth SaaS
- Deep TypeScript and Go expertise
- Mastery of AWS serverless (CDK, EventBridge, SQS, Lambda, Secrets Manager)
- Event-driven architecture and distributed systems trade-offs
- Observability experience with Datadog and OpenTelemetry
- Security/compliance exposure (GDPR, SOC 2)
