About the role
Senior engineer on the x360Sync team owning the macOS agent, a native desktop app central to the backup and file sync product. Works primarily in C++ with Swift and Objective-C across a mature codebase.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain features in the macOS agent using C++, Swift, Objective-C
- Debug production issues across stack and macOS system APIs
- Contribute to architecture and design discussions
- Write well-tested code and participate in code reviews
- Collaborate with product, QA and cross-functional teams
- Improve engineering standards and internal tooling
What they're looking for
- Professional C++ production experience
- macOS internals and platform APIs (NSFileProvider, FSEvents)
- Swift and/or Objective-C for macOS
- Debugging multi-threaded/multi-process applications
- Git, code review, CI/CD workflows
- Strong English communication
