About the role
Senior Software Engineer (AI Security) at Cyberhaven, building backend systems for AI security platform. Owns design and optimization of large-scale, fault-tolerant systems processing billions of events. Early contributor to new product area with architectural input.
What you'll do
- Design, extend, and optimize large-scale, fault-tolerant backend systems processing billions of events
- Build security capabilities to protect sensitive data flowing into LLMs, GenAI apps, and AI agents
- Contribute to architecture and evolution of AI Security platform
- Solve scaling and distributed systems problems through profiling and troubleshooting
- Build and ship production backend services using Go
- Work with microservices stack including Go, Kubernetes, BigTable, BigQuery, Spanner, Redis, Docker, Etcd
What they're looking for
- 4+ years software engineering experience building backend systems at scale
- Strong hands-on experience with Go (Golang) and production backend services
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and Kubernetes in production
- Experience with databases at significant scale; GCP services a plus
- Experience profiling and optimizing distributed applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
