About the role
Statista seeks a Senior Platform Product Manager to define and drive the product vision and roadmap for its core platform capabilities, including data infrastructure, APIs, and internal tooling. The role involves leveraging AI and automation to improve developer experience and platform scalability, bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Define and drive product vision and roadmap for Statista's core platform capabilities
- Translate complex platform challenges into clear requirements and work closely with engineering teams
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to accelerate platform development
- Act as bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Evaluate and shape integration strategies for emerging technologies (AI/ML, MCP, data pipelines)
- Assess platform performance, scalability, and reliability, driving improvements

- 7+ years experience in tech industry with strong understanding of product and engineering workflows
- At least 2 years recent hands-on experience in technical product domain (platform engineering, data infrastructure, AI/ML, API)
- Proven background in platform or technical product management
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts to business language
- Strong analytical mindset and structured prioritization
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, legacy systems, and evolving technical landscapes
