About the role
A Senior Platform Engineer role focused on infrastructure architecture, networking and web infrastructure for enterprise clients. The engineer designs secure, scalable, highly available infrastructure solutions, produces architecture documentation and supports failover, disaster recovery and routing strategy.
What you'll do
- Design end-to-end infrastructure solutions and ensure infrastructure readiness
- Translate application and business requirements into infrastructure designs
- Create and maintain Technical Architecture Documents and Visio diagrams
- Design web/application servers, load balancers, firewalls, networking and security
- Define high availability, failover, disaster recovery and routing strategies
- Troubleshoot availability, capacity, performance and architectural issues
What they're looking for
- 5+ years experience in infrastructure architecture and networking
- Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, web and internet infrastructure
- Understanding of load balancers, firewall policies, failover, disaster recovery and routing
- Infrastructure architecture/design experience with Microsoft Visio
- Cloud architecture and design principles understanding
- Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills
