About the role
Lead the Twilio Segment Data platform/pipelines team, building and scaling systems processing hundreds of thousands of data points per second. Own high-scale ingestion and processing systems, guide distributed systems design, and mentor engineers. The role involves ensuring reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency for a customer data platform.
What you'll do
- Own and deliver high-scale routing experiences for data platforms and pipelines.
- Champion team growth and success through mentorship.
- Architect and operate always-available distributed systems in cloud environments.

- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field.

- Technical depth in distributed systems, high-scale ingestion, cloud-native architecture.
- Hands-on experience with high-scale messaging/streaming systems (thousands of events/sec).
