About the role
Senior Backend Engineer on the DEX team, working on a complex data pipeline processing millions of messages per second and terabytes of data. Requires strong Java, Kafka, and Spark skills to build and maintain microservices.
What you'll do
- Work on complex data pipeline involving millions of messages per second
- Design and implement backend services using Java, Kafka, and Spark
- Apply microservice architecture and observability practices
- Implement REST APIs and GraphQL
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Clickhouse)
- Refactor code and automate tests

- Minimum 7 years of software development experience
- Strong backend development experience
- B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent, MSc preferred
- Excellent Java skills
- Deep working knowledge of Kafka
- Deep working knowledge of Spark
