About the role
QA Engineer Specialist performing manual and automated testing of software applications, developing Python automation scripts and documenting test results. Works with cross-functional teams on test strategy, requirements verification and post-release testing for rail/transportation software.
What you'll do
- Develop and update Python scripts to automate testing processes
- Identify, analyze and document test results
- Verify applications meet functional and non-functional requirements
- Participate in troubleshooting and triaging issues to root cause
- Perform post-release and post-implementation testing
- Maintain and improve automated scripts; evaluate new tools

- Under 3 years hands-on Test Engineer experience
- Automation and black-box testing skills
- Hands-on Python automation programming (must)
- Experience with requirements tracing, defect tracking and test management tools
- Familiarity with testing techniques (BVA, equivalence partitioning, pair testing)
- Master's in computer science, engineering or related field
