About the role
Principal Engineer for HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000 object storage product development. Leads organization-wide software architecture, drives technical roadmap, and mentors engineers. Requires deep storage systems expertise and 15+ years in product development.
What you'll do
- Develop organization-wide architectures and methodologies for software systems design across platforms.
- Provide end-to-end technical leadership and ownership.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies and outsourced development partners.
- Anticipate bottlenecks and architect innovative solutions.
- Review designs for compliance with guidelines and improve product quality.
- Coach and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's or master's in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 15+ years experience in product development environment on storage/system engineering.
- Track record delivering V1 products in modern storage technologies (object/file storage).
- Experience in storage product development (file, block, or object storage).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions.
