People Systems Engineer

About the role
People Systems Engineer building automations and integrations across Workday, Greenhouse and Slack using Workato, GCP and Claude. Reports to Senior Director, People Technology, in an all-remote async team.
What you'll do
- Build, test and maintain People system automations and integrations across Workato, GCP, Claude, Workday and Greenhouse
- Develop Workday Web Services and Slack API/Bot integrations
- Write Ruby automation code, versioned in GitLab with peer review
- Monitor integration health and troubleshoot failures at scale
- Ship via GitLab CI/CD following SOX ITGC controls
- Use LLMs and MCP frameworks daily to prototype AI agents

- Ruby or comparable scripting language
- Workday Web Services (WWS) integrations
- Slack API and Bot SDK
- Workato and Google Cloud Platform experience
- GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- SOX ITGC change-management familiarity
