About the role
Mid-Sr Designer for Global Navigation and Search supporting the Unified Experience Core portfolio at Lilly. The role balances high-fidelity visual execution with strategic UX problem-solving across navigation and search surfaces, contributing patterns to a global design system.
What you'll do
- Deliver end-to-end UX and visual design for Global Navigation and Search surfaces
- Shift between navigation and search workstreams based on business priorities
- Collaborate with surface design leads on complex UX challenges and interface architecture
- Maintain visual and interaction consistency across navigation and search components
- Contribute search and navigation UI patterns, components, and documentation to the design system
- Ramp up quickly on research, context, and technical constraints when changing workstreams
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent experience
- Comprehensive digital design portfolio showing visual craft and end-to-end UX problem-solving
- High comfort with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and rapid context-switching
- Ability to quickly absorb context, domain logic, and user requirements
- Experience with system-level thinking and cross-functional collaboration
