About the role
Technical lead for digital and analog electrical hardware design in the Power Protection & Quality Solutions unit. Owns hardware design, prototyping, validation and factory/field engineering support within global product development teams.
What you'll do
- Design digital and analog electrical hardware for new and sustaining products
- Build prototypes for evaluation and testing
- Analyze worst-case design and run validation for extreme conditions
- Support factory floor, product management and customers on technical issues
- Supervise and assure compliance with engineering policies and methods
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 7 years relevant hardware design experience
- Understanding of firmware design
- Experience in electronics manufacturing environment
- Leadership in new product development teams
- Knowledge of microprocessors, DSPs, ARM/TI/Microchip/Atmel, schematic capture, PCB layout
