About the role
Capco seeks a Java Developer for its Securities Finance Technology team to build an automated locates platform supporting securities lending. The role involves distributed systems, cloud-native development on AWS, and integration with messaging and caching systems.
What you'll do
- Design and develop a scalable automated locates platform for securities finance
- Build distributed enterprise applications using Java, Spring, and containers
- Integrate messaging and caching for real-time processing
- Develop and optimize SQL data models and queries
- Implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on securities finance workflows

- Hands-on Core Java, Spring frameworks, and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience building distributed systems and microservices
- Strong SQL and relational database design (MS SQL, MySQL)
