About the role
Engineering Manager leading backend platform services and database connectors for Hevo's data pipelines. Owns team leadership, architecture reviews, multi-tenant distributed systems and cross-functional delivery with product, program and support teams.
What you'll do
- Lead, mentor and inspire a team of software engineers
- Drive technical leadership through architecture reviews and code guidance
- Build and operate multi-tenant distributed backend systems at scale
- Ensure operational excellence, observability, reliability and security
- Collaborate with Product, Program, Support and Business teams
- Own end-to-end delivery of product lines and hire/grow the team
What they're looking for
- 10+ years in backend or systems software development
- 2+ years as Engineering Manager or Sr. Engineering Manager
- Prior Tech Lead, Staff or Principal Engineer experience
- Experience with scalable distributed backend systems
- Quality-first and accountability mindset
