About the role
CertifyOS seeks an Engineering Manager to lead high-performing engineering teams building healthcare data infrastructure. The role combines people leadership, product development, technical strategy, and architecture. The ideal candidate has a strong product engineering background and deep technical understanding, including AI/LLM adoption.
What you'll do
- Lead engineering teams building scalable, reliable, customer-facing products.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted software development and AI engineering tools.
- Own engineering delivery for customer-facing products from discovery to launch.
- Make sound architectural decisions for complex, scalable systems.
- Partner closely with Product and Design.
- Engage with engineers at a technical level.
What they're looking for
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with significant technical leadership.
- 3+ years of engineering management or equivalent technical leadership.
- Strong experience building and operating customer-facing products.
- Strong understanding of Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with microservices, distributed systems, Kafka, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD.
- Practical understanding of AI/LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, AI agents.
- Working knowledge of React and modern frontend development.
