About the role
Engineering Manager for AI Engineering leading AI platform development and high-performing teams. Owns scalable AI infrastructure, inference optimization, and MLOps for Meesho's e-commerce systems.
What you'll do
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of AI engineers.
- Architect and scale Meesho's AI platform: cross-region inference, multi-GPU fleets, distributed training.
- Drive inference optimization: GPU kernel tuning, quantization, memory/IO optimization.
- Optimize open-weight models at model and inference-engine level.
- Partner with Product, Data Science, and Platform teams.
- Own team's operating rhythm: hiring, performance, sprint planning, OKRs.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field.
- 9+ years software engineering experience, including 2+ years managing engineers.
- Strong hands-on experience with LLM inference stack (TensorRT-LLM, vLLM, SGLang).
- Depth in inference optimization: GPU kernel tuning, quantization, speculative decoding.
- Experience with distributed training frameworks (PyTorch FSDP, DeepSpeed, Megatron, Ray).
- Experience running GPU fleets in production (Kubernetes, GKE).
