Big Data Test Engineer with strong manual and automation testing experience. Design and execute test plans, perform manual and automated testing for Big Data applications and data pipelines, and validate data quality and transformations.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and cases
- Perform manual and automated testing for Big Data applications and data pipelines
- Validate data quality, data transformations, and end-to-end data processing workflows
- Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot defects to determine root cause
- Work closely with developers and stakeholders to drive defect resolution
- Create and maintain test documentation, test results, and defect reports
What they're looking for
- 3+ years of experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing
- Strong understanding of Test Engineering principles and best practices
- Proven ability to design effective test cases, including negative and edge-case scenarios
- Basic knowledge of Hadoop, Hive, Spark
- Good working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands
- Ability to work independently with high accountability
