Analog layout design engineer in Renesas's Power Business Unit, working on controllers, drivers, and DC-DC converters for AI and automotive power. Owns block- to full-chip analog layout, floorplanning, and matching, and can mentor junior engineers.
What you'll do
- Perform block-level to full-chip analog layout design
- Independently floorplan and layout analog circuits
- Ensure die-level digital, analog, PowerFET, ESD, I/O, and PAD integration
- Drive EM and reliability-aware layout with matching techniques
- Manage a small group and mentor new graduates
- Collaborate with circuit and layout colleagues to reduce rework
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering
- 7+ years in analog layout design
- DRC, LVS, and packaging flows
- Floorplanning and analog layout matching techniques
- Advanced IC CAD tools (Virtuoso XL, Calibre, PVS)
