Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead security and reliability engineering, building secure infrastructure and automating threat detection. Blends SRE and security operations to protect Smartsheet's platform.
What you'll do
- Engineer secure and resilient infrastructure using IaC (Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm)
- Automate threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management
- Secure CI/CD pipelines with automated security tooling (SAST, DAST, SCA)
- Manage and secure container orchestration platform (Kubernetes)
- Lead incident response and conduct blameless post-mortems
- Implement automated compliance with FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO 27001
What they're looking for
- 8+ years in technology, with 5+ years in hands-on senior SRE, DevOps, or Security Engineering role
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Expert-level proficiency in AWS
- Expert-level proficiency with Terraform
- Expert-level proficiency in Python, Go, or Ruby
- Knowledge of container security and hardening (CIS Benchmarks, DISA STIG)
