About the role
Solutions Engineer bridging customer requirements and manufacturing solutions via technical drawing interpretation, cost analysis and DFM reviews. Quotes CNC and other processes, advises on materials and finishes, and engages customers directly, reporting to the Global Solution Engineering Director.
What you'll do
- Provide precise cost estimates for CNC machining and other processes
- Perform DFM analysis and suggest design changes
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T and material requirements
- Offer alternatives for hard-to-source materials and complex geometries
- Engage customers to clarify requirements and align expectations
- Streamline quoting workflows and identify sourcing/production risks

- Knowledge of CNC machining and manufacturing processes
- Cost analysis and DFM experience
