About the role
Hands-on senior engineer to build and scale a cloud-native AI platform on AWS. Owns backend architecture, APIs, serverless infrastructure, and production reliability while working directly with founders on AI/LLM-powered applications.
What you'll do
- Design and build scalable fullstack apps in Python/Java/React
- Architect cloud-native serverless systems on AWS
- Build event-driven workflows with Step Functions, Lambda, API Gateway
- Work with Aurora and DynamoDB persistence
- Add AI/LLM features using Amazon Bedrock
- Improve reliability, monitoring, performance, and cost
What they're looking for
- 2–4 years production software engineering experience
- Strong AWS ecosystem experience (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, Aurora, DynamoDB)
- 2–4 years full stack development in Python/Java/React
- React frontend working knowledge
- Event-driven and distributed systems familiarity
- CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, debugging in production
