Backend engineer on the Release team within Software Delivery, building tools and frameworks to automate GitLab's release process across SaaS and self-managed environments. Collaborates with SREs to improve release reliability and observability.
What you'll do
- Create tools and frameworks to automate the release process
- Contribute to the Release Framework to replace custom tooling
- Work with teams to define and implement faster release solutions
- Build scalable frameworks for code that scales with demand
- Instrument code and identify observability improvements
- Collaborate with Infrastructure Platforms groups on release safety
