About the role
Senior desktop engineer to architect and build a native AI-powered IT self-service chat agent for Windows and macOS, deployed to 20+ million endpoints. Owns technical direction, client architecture, and distribution lifecycle for the desktop client.
What you'll do
- Define technical vision and architectural strategy for the desktop client
- Lead design of high-performance native applications on Windows and macOS
- Partner with product, backend, and AI/ML teams
- Provide technical leadership on coding standards and best practices
- Architect secure distribution lifecycle: signing, packaging, updates
- Champion observability, crash reporting, and performance monitoring

- 7+ years desktop application engineering experience
- Proven success shipping native apps on Windows and macOS
- Strong proficiency in C++ and cross-platform desktop apps
- Deep knowledge of Windows and macOS OS APIs
