About the role
Senior QA Engineer focused on performance testing for Procore's product and technology QA team in Bengaluru. Owns performance/load test design and execution for web apps, APIs and backend services, plus CI/CD integration and capacity planning.
What you'll do
- Design performance test plans and strategies for APIs, backend services and web apps
- Execute load, stress, endurance, scalability and capacity tests
- Analyze results and identify bottlenecks with dev and infra teams
- Establish benchmarks and monitor performance regressions
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Support performance tuning and root-cause analysis
What they're looking for
- 5+ years in performance engineering or QA with performance testing focus
- Experience with JMeter, Gatling, Locust or k6
- Understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native apps (AWS or GCP preferred)
- APM tools such as New Relic, Datadog or Grafana
- Scripting in Python, JavaScript or Groovy
- CI/CD pipeline and Kubernetes/Docker familiarity
