About the role
Senior Product Manager to shape JetBrains' VCS and code-change workflow strategy, evolving Git and code review into a standalone ecosystem. Owns long-term product vision spanning local merges, containerized and AI-assisted workflows, working closely with engineering, design, and marketing.
What you'll do
- Set long-term product strategy for VCS and code-change workflows across JetBrains IDEs
- Identify gaps in developer workflows and define new VCS product directions
- Explore opportunities in cross-IDE VCS clients, host-neutral code reviews, AI-native review
- Align roadmap decisions across product, engineering, design, marketing, and advocacy teams
- Balance user value, technical constraints, and platform health with engineering leads
- Represent VCS direction with customers and the developer tools community
