About the role
Own JetBrains Context, a managed retrieval layer serving codebase knowledge to AI coding agents. Hands-on product role defining vision, metrics, and roadmap bridging engineering, ML, and go-to-market teams.
What you'll do
- Define product vision, audiences, use cases and success metrics for JetBrains Context
- Set priorities, plans, milestones and trade-offs on cost, latency, freshness
- Collaborate with engineering and ML on indexing and retrieval quality
- Partner with Air, IDE, and Junie teams on integrations
- Work with marketing, devrel, sales, customer success on adoption
- Analyze competitors and represent product externally
What they're looking for
- Proven end-to-end ownership of complex developer, platform or infrastructure product
- Technical depth in embeddings, retrieval, indexing, API design
- Daily use of the product and competitors' tools
- Data-informed approach with telemetry and evaluation
- Strong cross-audience communication
- Comfort with ambiguity and category definition
