About the role
Lead the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) detection product within Identity & Risk Intelligence at Adyen. Own the build and scaling of ML models, rules, and risk signals to detect financial crime across products and markets. Drive a self-service detection framework using ML, GenAI, and agentic approaches.
What you'll do
- Lead build and scaling of ML models for financial crime detection
- Move detection toward self-service framework using ML, GenAI, agentic approaches
- Own execution of financial crime detection strategy, prioritize and make trade-offs
- Act as main product partner for Compliance, translate regulatory expectations
- Define detection quality and efficiency metrics
- Lead team of Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Backend Engineers
What they're looking for
- 8+ years Product Management experience building ML-driven, high-scale products
- 2+ years experience in AML, fraud detection or financial crime
- Proven track record owning and scaling ML-driven products (detection, scoring, risk models)
- Experience in highly regulated environments (payments, banking, fintech)
- Comfortable going deep with Data Scientists on model performance and trade-offs
